University of Michigan Police said they are investigating an alleged sexual assault involving students from the spring of 2006.
A 20-year-old student went to the police department late last week to report the incident after she was initially reluctant to come forward, Lt. Robert Neumann said.
The woman said she was groped by a male acquaintance inside another person's residence in the Vera Baits II housing complex in the 1400 block of Hubbard Street in 2006, Neumann said
