The search is on for a suspect who police say sexually assaulted two women at Florida Atlantic University's Boca Raton campus.
"You think that when you're on a school campus, you're in a safer area. There's more people around," said FAU student, Danielle.
But that was not the case for two women Thursday, according to police at Florida Atlantic University's Boca campus. Authorities say at about three o'clock in the afternoon, a female student was sitting on a bench in parking lot 16, when a stranger approached her. He grabbed her arm and tried to get her to follow him into the parking lot.
"He grabbed her by the arm again and she pulled away from him. He actually grabbed her up into a bear hug and he touched her inappropriately, said some inappropriate things to her. She was able to push him off and he ultimately left," said FAU police chief, Charles Lowe.
About an hour or so after that, police say a female staff member was approached while she was outside the library. The man also grabbed her, touched her inappropriately and said inappropriate things. The victim was able to push him off as a nearby friend walked up and the suspect took off.
